General Manager

The General Manager is responsible for the safe and efficient Operation of the Hard Rock Dublin they are also responsible for the financial results, brand execution, quality management and overall administration and direction of the property. He/she will partner with Tifco Hotel Group, the Regional Director of Hotel Operations and Hard Rock International Support Center to develop and execute strategic plans. The General Manager must harmonize the culture, mission, values, and quality standards to ensure maximum potential is achieved. This person must create an exceptional climate of professional and personable service that ensures the engagement of employees, guests, and owners.

Experience, Education and Certifications:

  • 10+ years’ experience in hospitality management, including 5 years at hotel executive management level and 3 years as a General Manager, preferably with an international brand.
  • Degree/diploma in Hotel Management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience that provides knowledge, skills, and ability sufficient to successfully perform the duties of the position.
  • Working knowledge of local hospitality industry and culture
  • Experience in property openings, preferably both new build and conversion.

Skills:

  • Positive attitude and the desire to motivate others.
  • Ability to prioritize and work on several projects simultaneously should pose a challenge without being overwhelming.
  • Strong communication and listening skills
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, owners, investors, and employees of the organization.
  • Ability to perform complex quantitative calculations or reasoning.
  • Good Financial acumen
  • Strong command of software applications, especially Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and hotel-specific platforms (MICROS Opera etc.)
  • Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers and staff

Human Resources Manager

Position Summary:

The Human Resources Manager is responsible for providing support, leadership, and oversight of the human resources and training activities of the property. This position is a strategic business partner who helps the hotel achieve its goals by being an advocate, change leader, and champion for inspiring achievement in the employee teams. The person must harmonize the culture, mission, values, and quality standards to ensure maximum potential is achieved. This person must create an exceptional climate of professional and personable service that ensures the long term engagement of employees, guests and owners.

 

Experience, Education and Certifications:

  •  5+ years’ experience in human resources and training, including 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Degree/diploma in Human Resources Management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience that provides knowledge, skills, and ability sufficient to successfully perform the duties of the position.
  • Working knowledge of all areas of human resources as it relates to practices and legal compliance locally.

Skills:

  • High energy with effective and influential people skills. Positive attitude and the desire to motivate others.

Graduate SEO Specialist

The Role:

As Graduate SEO Specialist you will be part of the Ecommerce team, the main function of the role is to improve the content and search engine ranking of our websites. You will also need to be flexible, interested to learn and assist with other day-to-day tasks within the team.

  • Responsible for organic customer acquisition on web, reporting on organic traffic, transactions and conversion rates
  • Become the SEO champion within the business and improve SEO performance of all websites
  • Develop and lead SEO strategy in coordination with Ecommerce team
  • Regular keyword research and on-site updates to optimise key landing pages for SEO
  • Analyse, identify and communicate reasons for changing traffic behavior
    Increase the overall awareness of SEO within the business
  • Stay up to date with the latest in SEO industry best practice
  • Stay updated on Google algorithms – Google Search Console, Google Business Listings
  • Update websites with SEO fixes and improvements that will drive organic growth
  • Generate new content for websites to enhance the customer experience and site ranking

Requirements:

  • Technical SEO experience using crawl tools.
  • Experience using Google Analytics, Bing and Google Webmaster Tools, MS Office, Google Data Studio and keyword monitoring tools.
  • Experience working on technical SEO projects, such as page speed improvements

Additional tasks:

  • Maintenance and Content Management of sites ensuring website content is up to date and accurate
  • Create fresh and enticing content on a regular basis such as blogs, landing pages etc
  • Testing websites continuously
  • Assisting with Design and development html ezines.
  • Assist with the design and development of website, social media and online advertising graphics using the Adobe Suite.
  • Work closely with external design agencies and suppliers, as well as internal stakeholders at hotel, corporate and brand levels
  • Ability to multi-task and work to deadlines in a close team environment.

Technical Requirements:

  • Qualified to Degree level in a relevant discipline
  • Knowledge of HTML5, PHP and Javascript
  • Experience working with Content Management Systems
  • Knowledge of Website Analytics
  • Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop Suite
  • Strong knowledge and keen interest in SEO and SEM
