Clontarf Castle Hotel is offering food lovers a Michelin Star break and two nights of wining and dining at the award winning hotel. It is a perfect blend of a boutique and luxury hotel, providing unique style and exceptional service in comfortable surroundings.

The hotel break includes dinner the first night at Fahrenheit Grill at the hotel and the second night at Bon Appetit Michelin Star restaurant in picturesque maritime village, Malahide.

Choose from Pan Roast Saddle of Monkfish, Grilled Loin of Wicklow Lamb among other tasty dishes at Fahrenheit Grill cooked by Head Chef, Jason Hayde or choose from a selection at Bon Appetit including Spring Lamb and Monkfish.

Bon Appetit offers two unique dining experiences - a fine dining Michelin Star restaurant and a casual, atmospheric brasserie.

Bon Appetit’s Chef Oliver Dunne, who hails from Dublin, has been with Bon Appetit since 2006 and was awarded his Michelin Star in 2008. He has spent his career surrounded by award winning chefs such as Conrad Gallagher, Gary Rhodes and Gordon Ramsay to name but a few.

Oliver said “As a chef my imagination gets fired up with the arrival of spring, delicate fresh young leaves with all shades of pastel, the sight of the first spring fruits full of subtle and suggestive flavours rather than deliberate statements.  After the dreary monotony of winter, what a relief it is to cook the first tender asparagus, the first morels and carve the first slice of spring lamb. Spring is wake up time for chefs and is the most hopeful of all the seasons and one I eagerly await each year.”

Clontarf Castle closed from June 1997 and reopened in June 1998, as a superb four-star hotel.

In 2007, €10 million was spent on further upgrading and renovating the Castle to the standard you see today.
